Market Pain Point
Professional grade monitoring devices typically have a price tag from few thousand dollars up each. Even worst it is hard to find a simple device to read multiple IAQ (indoor air quality) parameters in one go.
Not everybody needs to be a professional air quality specialist. But many people care to know how good or bad is their indoor air quality. Air Master 7 is here to fill the gap.
We put together professional grade sensors and assemble them in a simple acrylic glass enclosure. Contracting with a large backlight LED screen, the whole device look raw and primitive as an engineer’s DIY tool.
SIX particulate matter counters for particle size from 0.3um to 10um, real time air temperature, relative humidity and chart-able data log on PM2.5 level (maximum 320 logs over 24-hour).
Maker-love Adafruit LED display is used. Its backlight color is programmed to give gradient change among blue, yellow and red colors in response to pollution level measured.
Equipped with a 2000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery big enough for two-hour monitoring. Or you may contact the device directly with standard USB charging cable for continuous on-site monitoring.
We are in the process of upgrading the AM7 from a DIY grade product to a commercial grade. On drawing board it goes like that:
You may like the commercial grade better. But as an engineer we still love the AM7 in its primitive form. Grasp one now before we will roll it into mass production.
